We're not saying that you should push kids to be gay or trans, but you shouldn't also assume your kids will be hetero or cis. Hell, don't really assume your kid will be anything. Let them decide. I mean, I guess you could call your child by cis pronouns until they're old enough to decide, or when/if they tell you otherwise, because there's no telling with that stuff in this age. But honestly, people shouldn't assume their kids will be straight, or assume they'll be gay. People should never assume anyone's sexuality in general.

Just because the majority is a certain way doesn't mean it should be assumed that everyone is that way. For example, the majority of the world is male. Does that mean everyone is male? No. Likewise for sexuality. The majority is straight, but that does not mean you should assume everyone is straight until they say otherwise.
