My niece in Kansas has an $11000 bill for her daughter's 2 day stay in hospital for an asthma attack. Her grandmother will soon have to move to the "Sisters of the Poor" nursing home when her savings run out. She would love to go to college but can't afford to. Personally I would be happy to pay a decent tax and not have to worry about the other stuff.

pokethebear I'm 5 years past, annual mammogram and ultrasound. It was pretty rough for the first 2 years; 5 months of chemo then 8 weeks radiation. My left arm is a little swollen with lymphodeama as I had to have a full clearance. My hair grew back straight which was annoying, I had hoped it would grow back curly lol. Positive: between drugs and surgery I slid through menopause without noticing it.
