Looks like a Norwegian Forest Cat. Norse mythology tells that these cats were the favorites of Freyja (also spelled Freya, Freja, or Frejya), goddess of love, fertility and the hearth. Freyja traveled in a chariot drawn by either two white or gray cats. Looking at this picture, I now believe.

I saw this very same picture attached to a story about a guy who ended up being the only passenger so photoshopped himself into every seat on the plane.

I was thinking the other day we have so much in the news about bullying and supporting children who are victims of cyber bullying. What I don't hear very often is the parents of the perpetrators saying they have taken away all access to social media from their children and they are being punished in some way for their actions.

If it's from Melbourne, it's Nasir Sobhani, a professional barber who spends his one free day every week giving free haircuts to the homeless. He talks to them, reminds them that they are valuable human beings and deserve better than their current circumstances. He's a great guy.

As an Aussie who has lost family in both world wars, I totally understand the rationale behind this action, and applaud it. You glorious bastards, you.

Give some respect for a stranger who was doing the right thing! Take note, this is what you should do if you see anyone - male or female - being hassled.

Yup, can totally relate. My now 21 year old wasn't yet talking at all. I was carefully negotiating my car around a tight spot in a car parking area and bumped a bollard. I said "Oh shit" really quietly. The rest of the day, I hear from the back seat "Oh shit" in various tones of joy.

Cerberus, the name of the hell-hound and guard dog of the underworld, comes from the root indo-european word Kerberos, which evolved into the Greek word Kerberos, which got changed to Cerberus when it went from Greek to Latin.
Kerberos means “spotted”. That’s right.
Hades, Lord of the Dead, literally named his pet dog “Spot”.

I can't remember which episode this is from. I'll have to watch the whole show again to find out. What a shame.
A modern day soldier, a firefighter and a knight run the an obstacle course in full armor 3 comments

That soldier is super fit. Wins the first round by a mile and after being slow through the crawl because of his huge backpack, nearly catches up to the other guys. It's worth noting as well that the knight's armour is evenly distributed over his whole body, not throwing off his centre of balance like the firefighter or the soldier.

How could millennials have been married long enough to bother the divorce lawyers? My son's a millennial and he's only 21.
