I can say as an Afghan girl that the girls I have seen in Afghanistan, Saudi and a lot of European countries are raised a bit different than you think. You see, they arent that oppressed and grown into thinking Niqaab is the must-do. Even in the countryside, they wear a headscarf loose on their heads, ofcourse there are families where all girls wear those out of love of God and stuff, and some just inherited the face veil (they wear it because everyone does)....
Irs not obligatory to wear them in Islam, so I find it unneccesary (but thats my opinion :)
