I know of a lot of stories of people who go through their actual marriage period getting to know their partners, and it still works out. Actually, for all you know they /can/ understand it and are wearing shirts like that for fun or cause the print looks cool. I live in Singapore (English speaking Asian country *gasp* shocker) and I see loads of people wear shirts with something ridiculous printed on them.
