Feminism was doomed the minute it was named "feminism". By choosing to name it after a gender, it immediately has the sound and feel of being inherently gender-biased, whether intended or not. It would have made much more sense to call it "equalism", which is what I am a proud supporter of.

Having a third sex chromosome does not influence the sex in most cases. The product is still usually male or female, though there are rare cases in which the offspring can have both male and female sex organs. In the vast majority of cases where their gender remains definitively one way or the other, there isn't even any psychological difference, they simply have a chromosome that does nothing. But there are, again, exceptions, in which the offspring could identify with the opposite gender than their own sex.

I'm glad I have this information tyler. It was informative and interesting, so please feel free to throw any useful little tidbits in, regardless of whether or not you think they're related to the topic at hand :)

I agree, but many people simply refer to any cola, regardless of its brand, as a "Coke", so there's at least a chance it makes sense

For me, dating is more serious than most people. If I know for a fact that I will not or cannot end up with someone, I don't even bother trying. I see no point in dating when I know it will end, both because the end will be no less painful and because in that time that I'm preoccupied with whom I know is the wrong person, I might just pass by the right one. Some see dating as a means of getting to know someone and maybe they'll end up being the one, but I'd rather get to know them by being friends, and when I know them I know for sure whether or not dating them would be a good idea. However, I've never actually dated anyone before, so how valuable can my opinion be?

I was in gymnastics for a couple years, and had no clue people hated these things until now....they were fun as hell! And it's not at all about being un-athletic, it's just, well........common sense. Know that applying a large amount of pressure on one point of a voluminous, non-massive surface and that pressure will penetrate. Keeping yourself spread out like that last person said is what worked, but it was still possible to navigate without doing exactly that, just do what polar bears do on thin ice: Keep your weight distributed over at least three points and you're good.

Okay, got it.
You can use s=x(x+1)/2 for each day, where x=which day it is and s is the total number of gifts for that day. So, on the first day, you will get 1(1+1)/2 gifts, which is 1. Second day, you get 2(2+1)/2 gifts, which is 3. By setting this equation as your base, and setting the value of x to each whole number between and including 1 and 12, you'll have the number for each day. Use S1, S2, S3 etc to signify the total for each individual day, and then your final step will be to add all the S's together, giving your answer in a mathematically sound way. This can be used for more than just 12 days too :)

I'm sure there is some actual way to write out an equation giving the same result in a clear and concise way, but I don't know what that might be. This is the best I can do, but I'll definitely be thinking about it

I just counted upwards for each day. First day is one, second day is two plus that, making three, third day is six, and then the pattern showed. Day 2 is 2 bigger than day 1, and day three is 3 bigger than day 2. The same follows for the rest, so you get 1+3+6+10+15+21+28+36+45+55+66+78

As far as I can tell, these two computers were fairly inexpensive. Not to say they're cheap, prolly right around the 700 mark, could be less. Mine currently has about $2,000 in it, but no way in hell my parents would spend that kind of money on me. I had to build it myself, and I'm running an ASUS Z-87 Plus with dual GTX 670's, 16GB RAM, an i7 Eight Core 4.2 GHz Intel CPU, a 120GB Samsung SSD, two 500GB Seagate Barracudas, a 500GB Western Digital Velociraptor 15k, and a 3TB Seagate Barracuda all wrapped up in a pretty Antec 1200 with nice blue LED's. She's my baby :)

I assume it was a girl questioning her sister, not a brother. What brother would want to ever talk to his sister again after walking in on that?

I showed a friend of mine Death Note a while back. She loved it, of course, but then started talking about how hot Light was. My immediate response was, "But what about L though?", and she said he's too "weird". Needless to say, we are no longer friends.

Poor babies 10 comments

I have ten siblings. I grew up with four younger sisters, and just when the youngest was no longer a child, my oldest siblings started having kids. And they're over ALL the TIME. They haven't stopped spawning kids since then, and I'm not gonna say I hate babies, but after 19 years of never having a break, I'm fucking sick and tired of them. They never shut up, they break shit, they make messes everywhere.....also, did I mention they never shut up? I've been out of the house for 3.5 months now, and for the first time in my life, there are no babies and no kids. I've never been happier.

But it will show him go in to fight someone and get nearly beaten. Like, bitch no, I saw him watch a bolt of lightning as it slowly arced down toward Joe and then he unbuckled his seatbelt and got them both outta the car with no problem. He'd see that punch coming long before it would strike, no way he'd get hit by that bullshit.
Why I prefer the colder months 24 comments

That's why I prefer sleeping when it's too cold out. Throw on more blankets until you're good, but if it's too hot, you've gotta stop at your skin.
